How to join the Kommunal union
Kommunal is the union for people who work in municipalities, regions, the Church of Sweden, the non-profit sector or private companies that provide services for municipalities or regions.
You can become a member whether you have a permanent job, a temporary contract, seasonal work or work as a substitute.
Students who are studying for one of Kommunal’s professions can apply for a special student membership.
Become a member today
Pay your membership by direct debit (autogiro) and get a welcome discount. The first two months cost only SEK 80.
After that, the fee is based on your monthly salary.

Our collective agreements regulate important working conditions, and our legal team can help if you need support in a difficult situation. Because we know your profession and your industry, we can also explain what rules apply.
